In SLED Agent Investigating the Roadside Shooting — Part 4, we begin our look at the cross examination of SLED agent Ryan Kelly who responded to the roadside shooting of Alex Murdaugh in September of 2021. Specifically Defense Attorney Dick Harppotlian tries to contextualize his client’s confession — that he arranged for Curtis Eddie Smith to shoot him and make it look like a homicide — as the actions of a man who was in the throes of his addictions.
