Rolling Stone Magazine yesterday placed the podcast Firebug, produced by Truth Media and created in association with Crime Story Media, on its list of the Top Ten Crime Podcasts of the year.

In the article accompanying the list, Rolling Stone writer Andrea Marks writes: “…the way the podcast unfolds, the reveal of the flame-loving criminal’s identity sneaks up on listeners just like it shocked authorities at the time.”

In a post coinciding with Firebug’s premiere, the podcast’s host and Crime Story Media Publisher, Kary Antholis, said:

“I’m hosting a new podcast called Firebug to explore the complex story of how a manuscript for a novel circulating throughout Hollywood helped to reveal the true origins behind catastrophic fires blazing through Los Angeles. Produced by Truth Media, in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment, Firebug leverages cinematic sound design, archival material, and newfound footage to invite listeners to join me as I figure out where fiction meets reality.”
