Variety details that Greg Kinnear (As Good As It Gets) and Sepideh Moafi (The L Word: Generation Q) have joined the cast of In With The Devil, a six-episode series announced in January. In With The Devil is based on the 2010 novel “In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption” by James Keene and Hillel Levin. “The book tells the story of Keene’s real life when he was sentenced to prison but offered his freedom in exchange for coaxing a confession out of a fellow inmate, a suspected serial killer,” reports Joe Otterson in Variety. Taron Egerton, Paul Walter Hauser, and Ray Liotta also star.
As reported in Deadline, Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Josh Charles (The Good Wife), and Jamie Hector (The Wire) have joined We Own This City, and HBO limited series based on Baltimore Sun reporter Justin Fenton’s book “We Own This City: A True Story of Crime, Cops and Corruption.” Focused on the Baltimore Police Department’s Gun Trace Task Force, We Own This City reunites The Wire’s EP David Simon and producer George Pelecanos.
